Frequently Asked Questions

Answers on ordering, shipping, returns, core charges, and warranty coverage for diesel injectors, fuel pumps, turbos, and EGR delete kits.

CAT.01Ordering & Products
Do you sell new parts, remanufactured parts, or both?

Both. We carry new OEM and aftermarket components alongside remanufactured injectors, fuel pumps, and turbochargers for Ford Power Stroke, Dodge/Ram Cummins, GM Duramax, and several heavy-duty and machinery applications, plus new and reman gas injectors for most major car and truck brands.

How do I find the right part for my truck?

Use the Shop menu to drill down by make, then engine and year range (for example, Ford 6.7L Power Stroke 2011-2014), then by part category. If you're not 100% sure which part fits your application, call us at 817-952-3333 or email info@bigdawgdiesel.com with your VIN or year/make/model before ordering.

Do you have a discount code?

Yes — use code BIGDAWG10 for $10 off orders over $100. We also run rotating sales (like EGR delete kit discounts) that you'll see called out on the homepage and category pages.

Where is Big Dawg Diesel located?

3401 House Anderson Rd, Suite #2, Euless, TX 76040. We ship nationwide from there and from manufacturer/distribution warehouses across the country, depending on the part.

CAT.02Shipping & Delivery
How is my order shipped, and how long does it take?

Most items go out via USPS. Larger or heavier items, like turbos and injection pumps, ship via UPS or FedEx. We serve all 50 states, and most orders arrive within 2-3 business days. Alaska and Hawaii may carry extra shipping fees and a longer transit time. We don't currently ship outside the U.S. — international orders may be canceled and refunded in full.

When will my order actually ship out?

Orders placed before 3:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday, are typically processed the same business day. Orders placed after that cutoff, or over the weekend, ship the next business day (or the following business day after a holiday). Need it rushed? Call us and we'll do what we can.

Why was my order put on hold or delayed?

As a fraud-prevention measure, your billing and shipping address need to match. If they don't, we'll call the phone number on the order to verify. If we can't reach you within 2 business days, the order may be canceled.

Can I request a specific carrier or expedited shipping?

Yes — leave a note at checkout or call us with your order number. Overnight/next-day rates vary by carrier and destination, so for rush shipping it's best to call and place the order directly with us. Additional fees may apply.

CAT.03Returns & Core Charges
What's your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery, and the part must be uninstalled and in its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and a 20% restocking fee applies. Performance injectors, electrical components, and parts purchased as part of a kit are not eligible for return. Full details are on our policies page.

What is a "core charge" and how do core returns work?

Injectors and pumps are sold on a core-exchange basis. If your old part is installed, it can only be returned for core credit — not a cash refund. You have 30 days to send back the original core to receive that credit; after 30 days, no core credit is issued. The core needs to be a complete, rebuildable unit — no cracked housings, melted bodies, broken pintles, fire/water damage, or broken electrical connectors.

Can I return a part once it's been installed?

Installed injectors and pumps can only be exchanged or returned for core value — not refunded. Installed turbochargers and turbo components aren't eligible for return at all. Electrical parts (IDMs, FICMs, electrical pumps, sensors, etc.) are non-returnable and non-exchangeable regardless of install status.

Are EGR delete kits or emissions parts returnable?

No. EGR delete kits and other emissions-related products are sold strictly for off-road, race, or competition use and are final sale — no returns, refunds, or exchanges, whether the item is opened, installed, or still unused.

CAT.04Warranty
What warranty comes with my part?

Coverage varies by product, and the exact term is listed on each product page. As a general guide: most aftermarket components carry a 90-day warranty unless otherwise noted, injection/HPOP pumps carry 1 year (excluding fleet use), remanufactured injectors range from 90 days to 1 year, new Motorcraft injectors carry a full 2-year warranty, and performance injectors/pumps carry 30 days. Warranties are valid only for the original purchaser and are non-transferable.

How does a warranty claim actually work?

Suspected warranty parts are sent to the manufacturer for bench testing to confirm the failure — this typically takes about 5-10 business days. You're responsible for return shipping. Once the manufacturer confirms the claim, credit is issued to your account or a replacement is processed. Installed injectors and pumps are exchanged only; we don't issue cash refunds on installed performance parts.

Does using biodiesel or other alternative fuel affect my warranty?

Yes — running biodiesel or other alternative fuels voids the warranty on fuel system components, since we've found they're damaging to the fuel system.

What's NOT covered under warranty?

Electrical items (IDMs, FICMs, electrical pumps, sensors, etc.) carry no warranty exchange or refund. Labor, towing, diagnostic time, and removal/reinstallation costs are never covered. VP44 pump warranties are voided if performance products like Edge or Quadzilla tuners are added, since they can damage the PSG.

CAT.05EGR Delete & Tech Support
Are EGR delete kits and tuning products legal for street use?

No. EGR delete kits, emissions-related components, and tuning products are sold strictly for off-road, race, or competition use. They are not certified
