Description
Be prepared for the unexpected. A diesel engine runaway, though rare, can lead to catastrophic failure when external hydrocarbons cause uncontrolled overspeeding. Protect your vehicle'"and yourself'"with BD Diesel'(TM)s Electronic Positive Air Shutdown (E-PAS). By actuating the existing electronic throttle body found on modern diesel engines, the E-PAS automatically shuts off airflow in emergency situations, safely stopping the engine. Unlike other Duramax shutdown systems, BD'(TM)s E-PAS is the only solution on the market that operates without triggering a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or trouble codes such as P0106. Installation is quick and hassle-free, thanks to factory plug-in connectors and a premade wiring harness'"taking less than 1.5 hours. The system resets automatically after shutdown and can be easily removed for lease returns. Stay in control when it matters most with an E-PAS from BD Diesel.
