PLEASE NOTE:
The 2011-2016 Duramax suffers from a high pressure fuel pump issue unique to this year range. Failure of this CP4 pump is usually catastrophic, causing instant contamination of the entire fuel system with metal particulates. If your current pump has failed, replacing it with this one won't fix the problem until you fix the damage caused by your current pump. If you do put this one on without fixing the issues, those metal particles will get into the replacement and ruin in before you can back out of your driveway. YOU MUST FLUSH OUT YOUR ENTIRE FUEL SYSTEM BEFORE INSTALLING THE CP4 PUMP.
