1994-2003 FORD 7.3L POWERSTROKE TP38 GTP38 TURBOCHARGER HEAT SHIELD (SHROUD)
If your turbocharger is showing sign of an oil leak and a difference is boost performance, check your heat shield. Any evidence of carbon deposit or oil on the bearing housing may indicate a blown turbine seal which will cause the said oil leak. Replacing the heat shield will resolve this but confirm with a certified mechanic.
