Replacing the high-pressure fuel line is required by Ford when replacing injectors. Reusing old lines risks fuel leaks or injector failure due to improper sealing.

As per Ford Expert Service Recommendation, you should always replace your old 6.4l injector fuel lines tubes after you have removed your old units out.
Install Specs:
Injector hold down bolt – initial torque- 18 inch-lbs.
Then install the feed line ‘hand tight’.
Then injector hold down final torque: 28 lb-ft.
Then torque feed line nut: 106 inch-lbs.
Then tighten feed line nuts +60 degrees to achieve final torque.
